Northwest Toyota donates $2000 to Lancaster's Learning Grounds project.



On Wednesday, June 17, Tak Takhar, Sales Manager for Northwest Toyota presented Ms. King with a cheque for $2000. Funds are being used to enhance our learning grounds. Thank you to Northwest Toyota for the generous gift.

Lancaster students given donation of Bicycle helmets

On Thursday, June 18, representatives from the Peel safety village, Region of Peel Public health department and the Peel Police visited Lancaster. Students were taught bicycle saftey and 91 helmets were donated for the grade 3 and 4 students.

Lancaster family featured on CBC Newscast

Lancaster's Karim family, along with Ms. King, were featured in the September 2nd broadcast of CBC's The National newscast. The piece, entitled "Pass or Fail: Too much homework!" gave an indepth explanation of teachers' and parents' feelings regarding the assignment of homework to students.
